AK DMV Test Simulator Exam Mode

Starting at age 14, Alaska allows its residents to begin learning to drive. Those who are 14 years or older may take a written knowledge test based on the 2018 Alaska Driver Manual to begin the licensing process, which consists of 20 multiple-choice questions, and you’ll need to correctly answer at least 16 to pass. If you’re between the ages of 14 and 16, you can take the knowledge test to qualify for a two-year permit. If you’re 16 or older, you will need to take the written exam in addition to a driving test for your license. Questions will consist of basic driving and safety knowledge, including speed limits, road signs, divided and undivided roads, and defensive driving techniques. The written exam will be offered at your local DM; don’t forget to bring a completed application form, proof of parental consent (if you’re under 18), identity, and residence, as well as $15 for your permit or $20 for your license. This DMV exam simulator practice test will help you experience exactly what it will be like to take your test, as hints and answers will be disabled, and the test will end early if you fail so you can prepare for your next attempt.
